Kmetija Stekar “Re Piko” is a wine that may seem controversial to many: it can disorient novices or give great emotions! It has a generous and introverted soul at the same time; it requires commitment and patience. It unleashes a whirlwind of balsamic and wild herbs, candied citrus, yellow fruit, honey, resins, and dried fruit on a tertiary and volatile background. The sip is articulated, intense, flavorful, mineral, and very fresh, with long persistence and with rough and pleasant tannins on the finish. It communicates without filters and without compromises the most authentic, rural, and rustic face of Brda, the Collio Sloveno.
